Barcelona ranks among the first “five cities of the future” in the article published by the New York Times. Such an award comes due to the strategic role of Barcelona Fairs in the Catalan economy and on a national level. Its rich calendar counts 80 trade exhibitions and gathers 40,000 companies and 3.5 million visitors per year.<\/p>\n

We know the Spanish industry fairly well and how to meet the needs of Italian entrepreneurs. There has always been a very strong Italian presence in Barcelona trade fairs, with a gradual increase in the number of exhibitors and, ultimately, visitors in recent years.<\/p>\n

If Catalonia is Spain\u2019s big industrial engine, Barcelona can be considered as a privileged access to the Spanish market. This holds true not only for big companies, but also for small and medium enterprises looking for importers, agents and distributors in areas of major strategic interest.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

Barcelona offers Italian entrepreneurs a recreational, cultural and social dimension, which perfectly represents the concept of “business and leisure”; it is a sought-after destination for all professionals. Italians can easily reach the Catalan capital from almost any region.<\/p>\n

The most interesting industrial sectors for Italian SMEs are many: construction materials, food and beverage, ho.re.ca., design, ceramic products, plastics and chemicals, packaging, technology and smart cities, as well as consumer goods, such as cosmetics, fashion, tourism and the boat industry.<\/p>\n

Events like Smart City, Smart Mobility, IoT, Industry and other technology-oriented trade shows are all the rage. A good example is the Mobile World Congress, hosted in the Gran Via exhibition centre, which has become an unmatched leader of mobile-focused events.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
