The Swine Breeding Day is back.
And it restarts from where we left off four years ago: the African Swine Fever.
In fact, this will be the central theme of the debate that will enliven the seventh edition of the Conference on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, in Modena, at the RHM Modena Raffaello Hotel.
After the forced stop caused by the pandemic, we return to the format that in past editions, thanks to topics of great interest and high-level national and international speakers, has always received appreciation and great audience attendance.
Today, with such a dramatic theme as the African Swine Fever that risks undermining the survival of one of the most important sectors of the Italian agri-food, we invite breeders, butchers, processors, large vertically integrated production groups, Institutions, trade to the same discussion table, aware that only through a constructive dialogue among all the actors in the sector can the measures already implemented to counter the spread of the virus be strengthened. This is precisely the objective of the Swine Breeding Day.
And as ambitious as this objective may be, we are convinced that we can achieve it for the benefit of the Italian swine production and its products of excellence.
